Mahatshula East Housing Project Nears Completion

The servicing of 650 medium-density residential stands in Mahatshula East, Bulawayo Province, has reached 92% completion, the government revealed during the 20th Post-Cabinet Media Briefing held this week.

The update was provided by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Briadcasting Services Dr. Jenfan Muswere, who cited a report from the Ministry of National Housing and Social Amenities.

“The servicing of 650 medium-density residential stands in Mahatshula East, Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, has reached 92% completion,” said the minister.

Meanwhile, under the Beitbridge Redevelopment Project in Matabeleland South, construction is underway on two blocks of garden flats and two blocks of double-storey duplex flats.

“Under the Beitbridge Redevelopment Project in Matabeleland South Province, construction of two blocks of garden flats and two blocks of double-storey duplex flats is currently in progress,” the minister added.

These developments form part of the government’s national housing delivery strategy, which aims to provide decent accommodation and support urban renewal in key regions across the country.
