SA-Based Maskandi Artist Zinjaziyamluma to Launch 13th Album in Bulawayo

South Africa-based Maskandi artist Mxolisi Mavundla, popularly known as Zinjaziyamluma, is set to launch his 13th studio album at the Bulawayo Art Gallery.
The highly anticipated launch will take place on the 12th of September, from 5 to 9pm marking the artist’s return to Zimbabwe for a local release, after previously hosting most of his recent album launches in South Africa.
Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, Zinjaziyamluma said he deliberately chose Bulawayo as a tribute to his loyal Zimbabwean fan base, which has supported his musical journey over the years.
“I realized that home is home and the ones who will always support me whether I’m home or in South Africa are my fellow Zimbabweans,” said Zinjaziyamluma.
He added that the new album delves into a variety of life experiences and societal challenges. One of the standout tracks, “Asambeni Emhlahlandlela”, focuses on tradition, with the artist describing it as a way of promoting and preserving African culture and heritage.
“I’m an individual who grew up believing in tradition, so I’m trying to push people to come together in tradition so that the next generation upholds traditional customs,” he stated.
The album also features South African singer Thandeka Radebe on a powerful collaboration titled “Abahlangene Ngegama Lami Bayophuma Bengaphethe Lutho.”
Zinjaziyaluma stated that people should look forward to a performance that takes them back through memory lane as he will be performing his previous releases that contributed to his rise and fame, hence the fans should look forward to a fiery
