The City of Bulawayo has issued a public notice cautioning three property development companies against selling residential stands in Umganin Phase IV before completing the servicing and official commissioning of the project.

In a statement, BCC stated that developers in question are Veluntina Investments (Pvt) Ltd, Cabin Lock Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, and Heavenview Properties (Pvt) Ltd.

According to the service agreements signed with the City, these companies are required to use their own funding to service the stands and are prohibited from selling them before the project’s completion.

However, it has come to the City’s attention that the stands are being sold prematurely, which is a direct breach of the agreements.

The City of Bulawayo has warned the developers that failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the service agreements may result in their cancellation.

The City is also advising potential buyers to exercise caution when purchasing stands, as they risk losing their hard-earned cash if the agreements are canceled.
