The Premier Soccer League (PSL) disciplinary committee has banned Yadah FC board member Spencer Muvadi for one year after he assaulted the team’s goalkeeper following their match against Ngezi Platinum in August.

The PSL Disciplinary Committee found Muvadi guilty of breaching league rules and slapped him with a four-thousand-dollar fine, plus hearing costs.

During the ban, Muvadi is barred from holding any official role, conducting football business, or attending matches under the PSL’s jurisdiction.

Yadah FC were also punished for their part in the incident. The club was fined five-thousand dollars and must pay within fifteen days.

The PSL says such disciplinary measures are necessary to protect the integrity of the game.
