Zimbabwe are through to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after a commanding seven-wicket win over Kenya in the Africa Qualifier semi-final at Harare Sports Club yesterday.

Kenya, who chose to bat first, managed 122 for six, with Rakep Patel top-scoring on 65 runs. Blessing Muzarabani led Zimbabwe’s attack, taking two wickets for 19, while Richard Ngarava, Brad Evans and Tinotenda Maposa also struck.

In reply, Brian Bennett lit up the chase, smashing 51 off just 24 balls, including six straight boundaries in one over. He set the tone before Tadiwanashe Marumani added 39 runs, leaving Ryan Burl and Tony Munyonga to finish the job with ease.

Zimbabwe reached their target with 33 balls to spare, booking their ticket to the World Cup and setting up a final clash with Namibia on Saturday.
