The Futsal National League is headed for a nail-biting finish, with just one game left to play and three teams still in the hunt for this year’s championship.

League leaders Nedbank were forced to settle for a 3-all draw against Mictech Stars, but bounced back in style with a commanding 9–5 win over Cowdray Park, keeping them at the top of the table.

Hot on their heels, second-placed TNS kept their title hopes alive. They hammered Cowdray Park 7–1, before being awarded a 3-nil walkover after Spark United failed to honour their fixture.

Futsal National League President Philani Banda told SkyzMetro FM that the intensity of this year’s season shows just how competitive local futsal has become.

All eyes now turn to this Sunday, when the final round of matches will determine who lifts the 2025 Futsal National League title.
