The Public Service Commission (PSC) has launched a Trainer of Trainers Workshop on Work Culture Transformation at the Elangeni Campus, calling it a key step toward achieving Vision 2030 and the goals of NDS2.

Officially opening the programme, Secretary of Service Commissions, Sibusisiwe Zembe, said true transformation in the public sector goes far beyond updating policies and modernising systems. She told participants that lasting progress depends on reshaping the work culture that drives everyday service delivery.

Zembe described culture as the “invisible architecture” that influences how public servants think and act. She urged workers to move from simple compliance to a culture of excellence, and from limiting mindsets to innovation, accountability and ownership.

The workshop aims to equip trainers with the skills needed to inspire and sustain these changes across government departments.
