Bosso on the verge Of Appointing Mwaruwari as Head Coach

Bulawayo giants Highlanders FC may be heading for a technical shake-up, with reports suggesting that former Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari is being considered for the head coach role.

This follows uncertainty around the recently appointed coach Thabo Senong, who is still yet to secure a work permit and has since returned to South Africa. The situation is understood to have disrupted pre-season preparations.

Local Newspapers report that Highlanders leaders met club benefactor Wicknell Chivayo in Harare this week to discuss the team’s future. Chivayo had previously offered to fund the club if Mwaruwari was appointed.

The club is still yet to issue an official statement. Talks are said to be continuing as Bosso looks to stabilise operations ahead of the season.
