Zimbabwe is set to host the 2026 SADC Sustainable Energy Week from 23 to 27 February at Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls, bringing together around 500 delegates to discuss clean energy and economic growth in the region.

Government officials, regional bodies, private companies, universities, and development partners will attend, alongside senior representatives from SADC and the African Union, promoting cooperation on sustainable energy initiatives.

The event is expected to boost tourism, business, and investment opportunities in Zimbabwe, while allowing countries to share knowledge and strengthen partnerships.

Meetings and discussions will take place during the first two days. The official opening on the third day will be led by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who will also deliver a keynote speech and tour exhibition stands. The conference continues on the fourth day.
