Relief has swept across the city after two-year-old Asanda Ndlovu, who was abducted at Meikles Mall on Tuesday, was found alive and reportedly unharmed on Thursday morning.

The toddler was discovered at a city flat in the company of a woman believed to be her kidnapper. Authorities have since taken the suspect into custody as investigations continue.

The news brings immense comfort to the family and a community that had been anxiously waiting for her safe return.
