Skyz Metro FM’s Brighton Mlilo Eyes Big Year as MC

Skyzmetro FM’s Brighton Mlilo says 2026 is shaping up to be a good year for his Master of Ceremonies career.
The radio presenter, who has been nominated as the Outstanding Male Master of Ceremonies at the Zimbabwe Wedding Industry Networking Gala, says the recognition is an encouraging start to the year.
Mlilo said he looks forward to hosting weddings outside the country. Having already hosted two weddings outside Bulawayo last year, he hopes to make an impact in people’s lives through his work.
“Just last year, I hosted two weddings in Gweru and I am hopeful that this year will bring more opportunities outside the city and internationally,” he said.
He added that working in radio has helped him develop confidence, delivery, and professionalism, skills that are crucial for his work as an MC. He said radio has also taught him to think on his feet, engage audiences, and adapt to different situations, all of which enhance his performance at events.
“Working in radio has taught me a lot of skills which are crucial for a good Master of Ceremonies. It has taught me confidence, delivery and professionalism. Moreover it has taught me think on my feet and enhanced my communication skills,”Mlilo said.
