Matebeleland Football Confederacy has entered the last stages of its preparations for the upcoming Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) world cup that will be held in Macedonia in the Months of May and June this year.
, Matebeleland Football President Busani Sibindi said the club was now ironing out the tactical aspect of the team and selecting the final squad for the trip.
The side will be gracing the tournament for the second time after finishing 13th from 16 teams in 2018.
Following a draw held over the weekend Matebeleland was drawn against Mapuche , Kernow and Australian First Nation in group C.
Sibindi added that his team will prepare accordingly as they have little is knowledge about their opponents.
Conifa is a Federation for all football association outside FIFa that was founded in 2013.
