At least three hundred direct exhibitors have booked and confirmed participation on 40 109 meters of exhibition space at this years Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
The trade showcase begins on the 20th to the 24th of September 2021 and will be running under the theme “Showcasing the new normal for business and industry: Realities and Opportunities”.
ZITF board chairperson , Busisa Moyo , during a press briefing at the VIP Lounge at the exhibition centre revealed that there are first time exhibitors displaying a wide range of products and services including automobile equipment, industrial hemp, financial services ,real estate and property development amongst others.
” Ten countries which include Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius ,Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa , Tanzania and Indonesia have confirmed participation. The three exclusive business days will run from the 21st to the 23rd September and will be officiated by the country’s President Emerson Mnangagwa.
The 24th of September the (ZITF) in Conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Zimbabwe Investment Development Agency will host the inaugural (ZITF) diplomats forum which is set to provide a tripartite discussion forum for the Zimbabwean government ,business leadership and foreign investors ,” said Moyo .
Entry for the public will be on the 24 th of September and will be charged at US$5 with no under 18 children allowed.
