Highlanders ready to face FC Platinum

Highlanders’ Technical Manager Mandla Lulu Mpofu says his charges are ready to face opponents FC Platinum in the quarter finals of the Chibuku Super Cup on Saturday.

Its all eyes on Bosso who have no excuse to miss a chance to qualify for the next round after securing good sponsorship deals from Sakunda Holdings , Utande and Sanctuary Insurance to ensure players are in full form.

“It does not change the upcoming match is a tough game. We all know what they have done in the country in terms of being successful we all know their intention they want to win Everytime.

So it doesn’t change our strategy FC Platinum is not a team that we can say because they are playing home we have an advantage”.

Responding to questions from the media on how he felt about playing his former team , Highlanders midfielder Winston Mangwe said the team had a tough match ahead.

“Going into this match Platinum is just like any other team , we respect them.

I have played for them and done what I have done for them, but I’m now concentrating on Highlanders it’s not an easy game but we are going to fight as a team”, he said.

Cranborne Bullets FC vs Harare City FC 1100hrs

Dynamos FC vs Black Rhinos 1500hrs

All quarterfinal matches will be played at Baobab Stadium.
