Mosi Rovers Football Club on Wednesday appointed Brian Moyo as it’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with faith that he carries the club in to Zimbabwe ‘s top flight football league.
Speaking to Breeze FM reporter, Club Chairman Martin Mhlanga said appointment of Brian Moyo as their new CEO was in line with club growth and development.
” We felt that his coming on board will help propel the club and also for strategic reasons . He is a well decorated man in the football circles and we feel that his input will help enhance our chances of bringing the Premier Soccer League to Victoria Falls . As a community we believe we can work together to uplift the standards of our club and our city by promoting sports tourism as well.”
Mosi Rovers Supporters Union ‘s chairman Mandla Khuya Khumalo also shared a comment with Breeze FM, applauding Moyo who has worked with other various organization and also owns a consultancy firm named Sportsplus.
“Moyo’s appointment shows how serious Mosi Rovers is in terms of bringing the P.S.L to Victoria Falls. He is experienced and has been to ZIFA and so many clubs in Bulawayo.”
A club fan, Calvin Chatira said he also hopes that the new CEO will bring positive changes in the wages and travel logistics of the club for the players.
