Recently appointed Bulawayo City Technical Manager Philani “Beefy” Ncube has bemoaned the fitness levels of players in the Zimbabwean premier league as teams gear up for the 2020 soccer season.
Ncube was speaking on the sidelines of the Clubs trial sessions held at St Columbus High School , were he said coaches had to start from scratch preparing the players.
The clubs trials began yesterday and they will run for the whole week ending on Friday.
Beefy added that his target is to remain with 30 players that he will then sharpen their skills to tackle the country’s top flight league.
Meanwhile the gaffer also expressed gratitude to the clubs board for giving him the opportunity to take charge of Amakhosi after an absence of almost two years from the premier league.
