The National Judicial Council of Vapostori has called on Zimbabweans to unite in prayer for peace and harmony as the country prepares to host the 2024 SADC Summit.

With the summit just around the corner, set to take place from August 17, the council is encouraging citizens to put aside their differences and come together in a spirit of unity.

As President Emerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa prepares to chair the prestigious gathering, the NJCV is urging prophets, religious leaders, and the nation at large to offer prayers for the president and his government.

The council hopes that these prayers will guide the country’s leaders as they represent Zimbabwe on the international stage.

The SADC Summit, which will bring together heads of state from across Africa, is poised to shape the future of Southern Africa. As such, the NJCV is also calling for prayers for peace, unity, and positive development, not just for Zimbabwe but for the entire region.
