Chamisa describes PHD Rumours as malice

Former CCC leader, Nelson Chamisa has rubbished claims that he has deserted his supporters and gone to study for a PhD in the United States.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Chamisa urged Zimbabweans to “ignore the sideshows, lies and falsehoods being spread by his opponents, saying he remains fully committed to the struggle.

He added that not all strategic decisions can be made public, describing information as a strategic resource never to be shared recklessly.

However, in his statement Chamisa demonstrated full optimism but did not shed more detail on his political plans which has done little to clear the air over his next political move, with critics accusing him of hiding behind strategic ambiguity.

Chamisa maintained that he has not abandoned the cause. Chamisa further said his hands are on the deck and his eyes are on the vision and mission moreover adding that the struggle continues.

Chamisa ‘s followers remain in the dark on the future of the party and their president.
