Mighty Warriors Secure Crucial COSAFA Win

Zimbabwe’s Mighty Warriors have boosted their chances of progressing at the COSAFA Women’s Championship after edging Botswana 1-nil in their final Group B match.

The decisive goal came in the 69th minute, when Rutendo Makore finished off an assist from Bethel Kondo to break the deadlock in a tightly contested encounter.

The result sees Zimbabwe collect maximum points from the fixture, strengthening their position in Group B as the tournament heads into the knockout phase.

Meanwhile in another Group B game that was played , Zambia finished ontop of the standings after beating Eswatini 2-1.
