Kenyan citizens have issued a united call for President William Ruto to step down from office immediately. The demand comes amidst widespread discontent with the government’s handling of the country’s economic and political woes.

Despite the recent withdrawal of a controversial finance bill that aimed to increase taxes to tackle Kenya’s debt, the public remains unsatisfied with Ruto’s leadership.

A statement circulating on X formerly Twitter, signed by concerned citizens, declares that they no longer recognize Ruto as the President of Kenya and have “recalled” his presidency.

The statement highlights several key issues that have plagued the nation under Ruto’s leadership, including economic instability, rampant corruption, and governance concerns. Kenyans have been struggling with rising living costs, high unemployment rates, and a perceived lack of effective leadership.

The citizens have given President Ruto a 48-hour ultimatum to vacate his office and surrender it to the people.
