Generous Donations Boost Salfina Orphanage Event, Founder Makes Plea for Shelter

Salfina for Orphaned Children, founded in 2000 by Gogo Angeline Mawere Chabata, recently held post Easter day celebrations in eMakhandeni surbubs , bringing together orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as elderly individuals under their care.
The event was made possible by the generous contributions of several companies which included Perazim Security Company, Big Tree, Trade Kings, Mr Sinkwa and Baker’s Inn.
In an interview with SkyzMetro FM, Gogo Mawere Chabata expressed heartfelt gratitude to the companies for the donations which ensured that beneficiaries received much-needed food and toiletry hampers, making the celebration a truly special occasion.
Looking ahead, Gogo Mawere Chabata invited well-wishers, companies, and individuals to partner with Salfina in realizing her long-held dream of building a dedicated home for the growing number of orphaned children under their care. She also mentioned a planned gazebo project for income generation purposes.
