Highlanders Eye Goal-Scoring Revival Against Champions Simba Bhora

Highlanders Football Club coach Kelvin Kaindu is holding out hope that his squad will rediscover their crucial goal-scoring touch when they face reigning champions Simba Bhora at Barbourfields Stadium this Sunday.

Bosso has endured a frustrating spell in front of goal in their last four league outings, which has seen the Bulawayo giants only manage to score two goals in the process, resulting in two draws and two losses.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday ahead of Sunday’s crucial encounter, Kaindu acknowledged the team’s struggles in the final third, but remained optimistic about their potential to turn things around, citing that there is much which still needs to be done in terms of finishing.

“There is much which still needs to be done in terms of finishing,” he admitted, expressing hope that his charges will “be able to discover their goal-scoring form that they had in the early games of the season.”

Meanwhile the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) games resumes tommorow with a number of exciting fixtures lined up for Matchday 15.Greenfuel FC will host TelOne FC at Greenfuel Arena, while CAPS United FC takes on Chicken Inn FC at Rufaro Stadium.

Ngezi Platinum FC is set to battle Manica Diamonds FC at Baobab Stadium, and Bikita Minerals FC will face Dynamos FC at Gibbo Stadium. Yadah FC plays Herentals College FC at Heart Stadium, with FC Platinum welcoming ZPC Kariba FC to Mandava Stadium.

All matches are scheduled for the traditional 3pm kickoff time.
