Dynamos FC Withdraws from 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup

Dynamos Football Club has officially pulled out of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, citing inadequate preparedness to compete at continental level.
In a statement released today, the club said the decision followed a thorough internal assessment which concluded that Dynamos is not yet fully ready for the rigours of continental football this year.
“While it has been a painstaking decision, we believe it is in the best interest of the team and everyone associated with Dynamos to focus on strengthening its readiness for future competitions,” the statement read.
The Harare giants added that they are committed to long-term development and improving the club’s competitiveness on both the local and continental fronts.
Dynamos, one of Zimbabwe’s most successful and decorated clubs, vowed to return stronger in future tournaments and thanked supporters for their continued backing.
