GMB Updates on Farmer Payments

The Grain Marketing Board (GMB) has confirmed the receipt of ZWG 52.1 million for wheat payments, bringing total disbursements for wheat deliveries to ZWG 282.1 million and USD 33 million, which has now been fully cleared.
In a statement, GMB Chief Executive Officer Dr. Edson Badarai expressed appreciation to the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Dr. Anxious Masuka, for facilitating the release of funds from the Treasury.
The GMB reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with farmers in pursuit of national food security.
