The spotlight is set to shine on 14 young finalists as the Miss Teen of the Universe Zimbabwe (MTOUZ) Grand Finale takes centre stage on 26 July 2025 at 18:00 at the Africa Sun Holiday Inn in Harare.

Under the theme “Empowering the Girl Child by Promoting Culture and Heritage towards Vision 2030,” the pageant aims to celebrate not just beauty, but also heritage, talent and female empowerment in line with Zimbabwe’s national aspirations.

MTOUZ Spokesperson Mbulelo Mpofu said preparations were at an advanced stage, promising a night to remember.

“The grand finale is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our contestants,” said Mpofu.

“We are excited to showcase their talents and recognise their contributions to our community. It all comes full circle on the 26th of July as we are set to find out who succeeds last year’s winner who made us proud in India.”

The event has garnered strong support from a wide range of local organisations and creatives, including My Afrika Magazine, ZimTickets, House of Langa, Moments in Time Photography, Mrs Sinkwa, City Link, and Rumour Magazine, among many others. A notable contributor is the Women in Gemstones Association of Zimbabwe (WIGAZ), which designed a unique crown to be awarded to the new queen.

“This year’s finale is going to be bigger and better,” said Mpofu.

“We’ve introduced a locally-designed crown and our tickets are now conveniently available through the ZimTickets platform.”

The pageant serves as a platform for teenage girls aged 15 to 20 to showcase not only their modelling skills but also their voices and advocacy on various social issues. MTOUZ is a national affiliate of the global Miss Teen of the Universe brand, which was founded in India by Sourav Anand. It is distinct from the Miss Teen Universe Zimbabwe pageant.

“This is not just a show, but a movement that helps shape the confidence and purpose of the girl child,” added Mpofu
