Highlanders’ struggles in front of goal continued yesterday after they were held to a goalless draw by relegation-threatened Kwekwe United at Bata Stadium.

Bosso are now winless since parting ways with former head coach Kelvin Kaindu last month and have failed to score in their last three matches. Their last goal came in a 1-0 win over Manica Diamonds in mid-June.

Despite facing a struggling Kwekwe United side, Highlanders failed to take advantage, adding more pressure on the club’s interim technical team.

Meanwhile, at Rufaro Stadium, Caps United edged past Scottland FC 1-0 to extend their unbeaten run to four matches. The result lifts them to 10th position on the log as they continue their steady climb.

The loss, however, was a blow for Scottland, who drop to 5th place, now trailing log leaders MWOS by 12 points.

In another match, Triangle United and TelOne played to a 1-1 draw at Gibbo Stadium. The result was enough for Triangle to remain just above the relegation zone with19 games played so far.
