Nominations are now open for the second edition of The List Awards 2025, a prestigious platform designed to honour unsung heroes across Zimbabwe and Africa.

Organised by Identities Media, the awards go beyond the traditional model by not only recognising changemakers but also giving them tangible support.

Winners and finalists will not only walk away with trophies but also receive prize money, strategic media visibility, and valuable networking opportunities, giving them the support they need to continue uplifting communities.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, Founder and CEO of Identities Media, Advocate Nyaradzo Mashayamombe, said the awards are a disruptive model in the awards space, restoring dignity by rewarding genuine impact instead of commercial popularity.

“These awards celebrate individuals who serve their communities with passion and integrity, and we want to empower them with resources to sustain their vital contributions,” she said.

Open until 24 August 2025, nominations cover 13 categories, including Business Impact, Humanitarian Impact, Climate and Environment, Sports, Storytelling, Human Rights, and Emerging Technologies, alongside three key Pan-African awards. Only individuals with at least five years of proven impact are eligible.

Finalists will be treated to a luxury awards ceremony and, for the first time this year, capacity-building workshops in Harare to strengthen their leadership and professional skills.
