Bulawayo Money Changer Robbed of US$30k in Broad Daylight

A well-known Bulawayo money changer, Edmore Vundla, known on the streets as Frank, lost a satchel reportedly containing US$30 000 in a daring daylight robbery on Friday.
The incident happened opposite Batista Shops near Tredgold, where Frank usually operates. Eyewitnesses say three men approached his silver Toyota IST, with one of them armed, and forced their way into the vehicle.
A vendor who was selling airtime nearby told Skyz Metro FM that Frank was serving a customer when the robbers struck. “I saw them leaving his car carrying the satchel,” the vendor said.
The robbers fled with the money, leaving stunned bystanders at the scene.
Police later took Frank and two other witnesses into custody for questioning as investigations continue.
