Mzondo Shines as Bosso 90 Honour Stars

Highlanders’ developmental side, Bosso 90, wrapped up their season in style with End-of-Year Awards ceremony, which saw Lewis Mzondo stealing the spotlight after being voted Players’ Player of the Season.

The talented youngster was the centre of attention as teammates saluted his consistency, leadership, and standout performances throughout the campaign.

Held at the Highlanders clubhouse and proudly sponsored by SendHome, the event celebrated the club’s next generation of stars, recognising their growth, discipline, and potential.

Mzondo’s top honour set the tone for an afternoon that applauded excellence across the squad. Ackim Nkomo walked away with the Goal of the Season award while Romeo Zimba claimed the top goal scorer accolade.

The Most Improved Player title went to Andile Matekesa, whose progress over the season earned recognition from coaches and teammates alike.

Defender Curtis Mangurenje was acknowledged for his professionalism and conduct, earning the Most Disciplined Player award. Playmaker Tafara Mhaka was celebrated for his creativity after topping the team’s assist charts, securing the Most Assists honour.

At the back, Sipho Ncube was named Defender of the Season, rewarded for his defensive solidity and commanding displays.

Rising talent Bonginkosi Karuma rounded off the list, receiving the Most Promising Player award, a nod to his bright future at the club.
