Caps United have confirmed the appointment of Takesure Chiragwi as their new head coach ahead of the 2026 Premier Soccer League season.

Chiragwi joins the Green Machine following his departure from Ngezi Platinum Stars, where he earned a strong reputation for developing young talent and delivering competitive football.

He takes over the reins with immediate effect and will be assisted by former Zambian international Ian Bakala.

The club is also strengthening its technical department, with former Warriors midfield maestro Tinashe “The General” Nengomasha set to join as team manager.

Other appointments include Cloudious Gunduza as the Goalkeepers’ Trainer, while John Vera and Gary Machakata come in as Data and Performance Analysts to support the team’s tactical and fitness preparation.

CAPS United say the new technical setup is part of their wider push to rebuild and compete strongly in the 2026 season.
