President Swears In Two Deputy Ministers

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa yesterday presided over the swearing-in of two Deputy Ministers at State House in Harare.

Honourable Kiven Mutimbanyoka was sworn in as Deputy Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development. Mutimbanyoka is a sitting Member of Parliament and previously served as a councillor and Acting Mayor of Chitungwiza.

Also sworn in was Honourable Fred Moyo as Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development. Moyo returns to the portfolio, having previously held the same position between 2013 and 2017.

The appointments were made in terms of Section 104, Subsection Two of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, which grants the President authority to appoint Deputy Ministers.
