City parking management company Tendy Three Investments (TTI) has extended a heart-warming gesture to elderly and vulnerable residents in Bulawayo, as part of its annual community outreach programme.

The initiative, which has been running for the past five years, saw TTI distribute a total of 1 400 food hampers, with approximately 140 beneficiaries receiving assistance at each city housing office.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, TTI Managing Director Lizwe Mabuza said the programme is aimed at easing the burden faced by vulnerable households, particularly during the festive season.

He noted that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to giving back to the community that supports its operations.

“The community supports our operations, and we have seen the need to plough back by assisting those who need it most, especially at this time of the year,” said Mabuza.

Bulawayo City Council Deputy Mayor, Councillor Edwin Ndlovu, applauded TTI for the gesture, describing it as a meaningful contribution to community welfare.

He said the food hampers would go a long way in bringing relief and smiles to many families during the festive period.

One of the beneficiaries, Gogo Aina Ndebele from Mpopoma, expressed her gratitude, describing the donation as timely and a sign of continued support from the city’s parking management company.

TTI has indicated that the outreach programme will be extended beyond the city, with plans to donate food hampers to vulnerable communities in the rural districts of Binga and Hwange.
