Beitbridge Woman Arrested for Allegedly Killing Father in Law in Domestic Dispute

A 35 year old woman from Tshishala Village in Beitbridge identified as Faith Dube has been arrested for allegedly killing her father in law following a heated dispute.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police the incident occurred after Dube confronted her father in law about his excessive alcohol consumption which she claimed was straining her marriage. The confrontation reportedly escalated, resulting in the tragic death of the elderly man.
Detective Inspector Rachel Muteweri, the spokesperson for the ZRP Criminal Investigations Department, confirmed the arrest. She said Dube is now facing murder charges and is expected to appear in court soon.
Police are continuing their investigations and have urged communities to seek peaceful ways of resolving domestic issues to avoid such violent outcomes.
