The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has taken a significant step to enhance its law enforcement capabilities with the commissioning of new boats, bikes, and vehicles.

Commissioner-General of Police, Stephen Mutamba, oversaw the release of the equipment, which will be deployed across the country to strengthen operations.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police said the high-powered boats will support rescue activities, water escorts, and patrols along major waterways, while the police bikes will facilitate scene attendance and patrols in rugged terrain, including farming communities and rural areas.

Additionally, new vehicles have been allocated to the Police Canine team to aid in crime reporting, suspect tracking, and crowd control.

The move is part of the ZRP’s efforts to provide quality service and enhance law enforcement in the country.
