Explosion Sparks Massive Fire In Bulawayo

A huge explosion hit Tshabalala and Nkulumane late, last night after a massive fire broke out forcing residents to flee for their safety.

The explosion triggered huge balls of fire, with flames visible as far as Nkulumane Complex. The scale of the fire prompted a rapid response, with multiple fire brigades and ambulances rushing to the scene to contain the blaze and assist affected residents.

Chief Fire Officer Mr Moyo told Skyzmetro FM that the fire was extremely dangerous. He urged members of the public to move away immediately whenever they encounter fires of such intensity, warning that delays could result in serious injuries or even fatalities.

Mr Moyo also called on aspiring entrepreneurs to strictly follow business regulations. He warned that failure to comply with safety standards often leads to hazardous incidents, putting both workers and surrounding communities at risk.

He further stressed the importance of safety for fuel handlers and petrol attendants, urging them to use proper equipment and appropriate materials when handling fuel.
