Zimbabwean gospel artist Stha is making waves with her latest single, “Phakama Dwala,” which debuted at number 1 on the Skyz Metro FM Gospel Top 10 last week and currently holds the number 2 spot this week.

Stha, who discovered her love for gospel music at the age of 8 while singing in the Baptist Church choir in Luveve, says the experience has been overwhelming.

“Seeing ‘Phakama Dwala’ debut at number 1 on Skyz Metro FM is truly humbling. It’s an affirmation that the message of my music is reaching hearts, and I am excited to continue sharing worship through my songs,” Stha said.

The single is part of Stha’s debut album, also titled “Phakama Dwala” which features songs like Linda, Ithuba Liphelile, Andoyikinto, Koba Mnandi, Uthando, and Umthombo.

Produced under the guidance of SoMuch Music, the album reflects her spiritual journey and dedication to uplifting listeners through authentic worship.

Stha grew up in Luveve, attending Mafakela Primary School and later Inyanda High School, where she continued nurturing her musical talent. She describes her music as a language of faith and hope, designed to inspire and encourage.

With “Phakama Dwala” already making a strong impression on Zimbabwe’s gospel scene, Stha plans to release more tracks from the album, collaborate with established gospel voices, and continue building a spirit-led musical brand.

Skyz Metro FM listeners can tune in weekly to catch the Gospel Top 10 and follow Stha’s rise as one of the country’s most promising gospel talents.
