Creator Finds Purpose Through Digital Content

Bulawayo-based content creator Alleta Nonhlanhla Nyathi says content creation helped her cope with emotional challenges and gave her a renewed sense of purpose during a difficult period in her life.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, Alleta said she was not inspired by any particular individual to begin creating content, but instead turned to social media platforms as a personal outlet during a time she described as emotionally challenging.

“I was not inspired by any particular individual to begin creating content but turned to it during an emotionally challenging time,” she said.

She said positive engagement from audiences encouraged her to continue producing content consistently, eventually helping her build confidence and connect with wider communities online.

Alleta also highlighted some of the challenges faced by upcoming content creators, particularly the lack of support during the early stages of their careers.

“Upcoming content creators often face lack of support especially during early stages,” she said.

She added that she overcomes such obstacles through consistency, collaboration, and mentoring fellow content creators with skills development and guidance.
