South Africa, Tanzania, Belarus and Namibia congradulate ED

Namibian President Dr Hage Geingob, South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, Belarusian President Aleskandr Lukashenko and Tanzanian Presidet Samia Suluhu Hassan have congratulated President elect Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zanu PF for winning this year’s harmonised elections.

This comes after the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission on Saturday declared President Mnangagwa, the winner following the harmonised elections held last Wednesday.

Namibian President Dr Geingob in a statement on X (Twitter) extended heartfelt congratulatory messages to President Mnangagwa and the ruling Zanu PF.

As congratulations continue to trickle in from Head of States in SADC, President of Tanzania Her Excellency Samia Suluhu also took to X (twitter) congratulating President Mnangagwa on winning the elections.

In a statement the South African President Ramaphosa called on all the parties in Zimbabwe to work in unison in sustaining peace and work towards development shared prosperity in the country.

In a similar congratulatory statement President Lukashenko said it is gratifying to see that Belarus-Zimbabwe cooperation remains on a solid footing. Citing that the election results had shown significant public support for the Vision 2023.
