The ZITF Company, organisers of the highly anticipated Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place in Bulawayo from 23-27 April 2024,have expanded this year’s theme to, “Innovation: The Catalyst to Industrialisation and Trade.”

In a press release, the ZITF company says new theme recognizes that innovation and entrepreneurship are complementary forces that work together to open pathways to economic growth and progress.

They added that the theme also recognizes that Zimbabwe currently boasts a vibrant and growing innovation scene, largely because of Government’s initiatives as outlined in Vision 2030 whose focus is on promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, equitable
development, and prosperity for all.

By focusing on innovative solutions, the organizers say they aim to equip businesses with the tools and strategies they need to thrive in an ever-evolving global landscape. The broadened
focus acknowledges the need to encompass a wider range of topics and widen the
catchment of exhibiting companies.

So far 98% of space capacity has been taken up with 517 exhibitors who have taken up 48,881 square metres of the set aside 49,499 Square metres.

ZITF organizers say exhibition halls and individual pavilions are now full and they will be a setting up marquee to house the many exhibitors who have been put on the waiting list.
