ZITF Official opening postponed to Saturday 10am

The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, which was scheduled to open tomorrow, the 26th of April 2024, has been postponed to Saturday 27 April 2024.

This was said by ZITF Chairperson Busisa Moyo at the Connect Africa Symposium, which was officially opened by Vice President Kembo Mohadi this afternoon.

Mr Moyo said that the President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto’s flight, was delayed due to extreme weather conditions.

“We all know the weather in the Easten parts of Africa. In terms of excessive rain, which is part of the reason why our guest of honor will be arriving a bit later than we had anticipated.

The official opening will take place on Saturday at 10 am, “said Moyo.

Presidential tour of the stands and other events will go on as scheduled.

President Ruto is set to officially open the 2024 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) running from 23 to 27 April 2024 in Bulawayo.
