Estate Agent Council of Zimbabwe Warns Public Against Non-Compliant Firms

The Estate Agent Council of Zimbabwe has issued a warning to the public, cautioning them against working with non-compliant firms in the industry. The council has released a list of unregistered firms, advising individuals to exercise caution and only deal with registered agencies that have a valid compensation fund in place.

The compensation fund serves as a safeguard for individuals who may suffer losses due to theft or misuse of trust funds. The public is urged to verify the authenticity of estate agencies before engaging with them and report any non-compliant firms to the council.

The non-compliant firms stated by the council are: Northway Real,Estate, Lightwave Properties, Trifold Real Estate, Deep Horizons Estate Agents,Parity Real estate/Chaco Properties and Top Homes Properties

This move aims to protect consumers and maintain industry standards, ensuring that only reputable and registered firms operate in the sector.
