The English Premier League kicks off today, with Manchester United hosting Fulham at Old Trafford, with the match scheduled to start at 21:00 hours.

Manchester United bolstered their squad for the 2024/25 season with several key signings. Notably, they acquired 18-year-old center-back Lenny Yoro from LOSC Lille in Ligue 1 for a fee of €62 million. Additionally, Noussair Mazraoui, a right-back, and Matthijs de Ligt, a centre back , joined from Bayern Munich. The club also welcomed back Jadon Sancho on loan from Borussia Dortmund and Mason Greenwood on loan from Getafe. Furthermore, three talented juniors from Manchester United’s academy were promoted to the senior team. The coach also oversaw several loan deals and transfers to strengthen the squad.

Meanwhile ,Manchester United’s squad underwent significant changes with several departures. Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined West Ham, while Mason Greenwood made a move to Marseille. Additionally, Willy Kambwala transferred to Villarreal, and Raphael Varane signed with Como. Other players, including Antonio Martial, who is currently without a club, also left the team.
