ZERA Warns of Misleading Petroleum Conference

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has issued a stern warning regarding a conference titled Compliance Conference for Petroleum Companies, allegedly facilitated by ZERA and other state enterprises.

A flier circulated by Graceflow Chartered Secretaries claimed ZERA’s involvement but the regulatory body has distanced itself from the event.

In a statement released this earlier today, ZERA clarified that it has no association with the conference,contrary to the organizers’ claims. The authority cautioned that any individual or organization participating in the event does so at their own risk and discretion.

ZERA emphasized that it will not be liable for any transactions or agreements entered into with the organizers.The regulatory body advised stakeholders to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of events claiming ZERA’s involvement.
