ZHRC Mourns the Passing of Justice Selo Nare

The Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) has expressed its condolences following the death of Justice Selo Maselo Nare, the former Chairperson of the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission (NPRC).
ZHRC Chairperson Ms. Fungayi Jessie Majome, alongside Commissioners and staff, extended their sympathies to the Nare family during this time of grief. Justice Nare played a key role in promoting peace and reconciliation, and his contributions to the Chapter 12 Commissions Forum, which seeks to entrench democracy in Zimbabwe, were highly valued.
His passing is seen as a profound loss to both the human rights and peace-building communities. The ZHRC deeply sympathizes with all those touched by his life and work.
