President Mnangagwa Expresses his Heartfelt Condolences to the Late Retired Col Tshinga Dube Family

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Dube family, following the passing on of Retired Colonel and ZANU-PF politiburo member, Tshinga Dube.
Dube passed on the third of October after a long battle with a kidney related condition. He was 83 at the time of his passing.
In a press statement, President Mnangagwa described the late as a nationalist stalwart , veteran freedom, loyal soldier, humble and hard working politician. He commended Dube’s heroic deeds in the service of the people and highlighted that he will forever be cherished for his dedication and bravery in the fight for freedom and the roles he played after independence.
The ZANU-PF National politiburo also declared the dedicated Cadre as a national hero. This was done to recognize the outstanding role that he played during the struggle for Independence and also the tireless efforts he put after independence serving his country and other nations in the region.
In his national service, Retired Colonel Tshinga Dube also served as the Managing Director of Zimbabwe Defence Industries, board member of Mining Development Corporation and Deputy Chairman of TelOne, Chairperson of Marange Resources and on United Nations Advisory Board on Disarmament.
