Bulawayo Afro Fusion Artist Drops EP

Bulawayo-based artist Butholezwe Ntini has released his highly anticipated new EP, titled “Kwelizayo.”
The EP features tracks such as “Kwelizayo,” featuring Xantel, “Izigwenxa Zomlomlo,” featuring Thandy Dlana; and “Sengikhethile,” featuring Mzoe 7 and Macala, among others.
In an interview with Skyz Metro news , Butholezwe shared the inspiration behind the EP’s title, describing it as a source of hope for a better future.
“I was Inspired to write a song that gives hope to everyone, especially “Kwelizayo”, when l say ‘kwelizayo’ it basically means one day it’s going to be you and whatever you want to achieve, so in a nutshell the inspiration behind the whole EP is giving hope to the hopeless,” said Ntini.
He also urged the youth in Bulawayo to avoid drug and substance abuse, emphasizing the importance of staying active and engaged.
“We need to consider that drugs are dangerous and have side effects, find something to keep you busy because at times when you are idle you end up doing things that are not okay only because you are bored, so let’s say No to drugs,” he added.
Butholezwe Ntini began his musical career in 2010 and released his debut single in 2019. He has been nominated twice for the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards.
