Bulawayo City Council (BCC) in partnership with Natwetcraft Investments, has officially commissioned 141 fully serviced residential stands in the Luveve North suburb.

The Local authority made the announcement through the social media accounts where Deputy Mayor Councillor Edwin Ndlovu lauded the project, highlighting its importance in addressing the city’s housing shortage.

He urged residents to actively participate in community development initiatives that promote sustainable living and protect natural resources.

The newly commissioned stands come equipped with essential services, including water, sewer systems, roads, and public lighting.

This marks the second major housing development undertaken by the BCC this year. In June, the council partnered with Enock Construction and Earth Moving Equipment to commission 115 fully serviced stands as part of the phase two Mahatshula East housing project which aimed at alleviating the city’s housing backlog and improving the living conditions of the residents.
