Traditional Leader Chief Marupi/Oaheng Nare Passes Away

Chief Marupi, also known as Oaheng Nare, passed away yesterday evening at Health Point Hospital in Harare after a brief illness. He was 28 years old.
Born on February 26th in 1996, Chief Nare became one of Zimbabwe’s youngest traditional leaders when he was installed at 18 in 2012. His leadership was marked by wisdom, dedication, and a vision for progress rooted in traditional values.
Known for his efforts in cultural preservation and community development, Chief Nare was a beloved figure who greatly impacted his people.
He is survived by his wife, Rorisang Tlou.
Funeral arrangements are still being made, with details to be announced.
