Simba Bhora’s unbeaten home run ends

Newly crowned Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Simba Bhora, suffered their first home defeat of the season Saturday, losing 2-0 to second placed FC Platinum.

Panashe Mutimbanyoka opened the scoring for FC Platinum in the third minute, before Thando Ngwenya sealed the victory with a goal in the 85th minute.

Despite the loss, Simba Bhora remains at the top of the league table with 66 points, 6 points ahead of FC Platinum.

In other PSL matches that were played yesterday, Ngezi Platinum Stars secured a 4 nil victory over Herentals, with Obriel Chirinda scoring a brace, while additional goals came from Tinotenda Meke and Tanaka Munemo.

Chicken Inn also claimed a 3-0 win against Bikita Minerals which also saw Chicken Inn goalkeeper Bernard Donovan record his 19th clean sheet of the season
