Zimbabwean Film producer and director from Harare, Marc T Mandisoul, is set to premiere his highly anticipated film, Dunamis, in Bulawayo on February 28th. The movie will premiere at 6pm in a red-carpet event.

Dunamis is a faith based movie inspired by real life events within the Pentecostal church that tells an inspirational story of hope.

In an interview with Skyzmetro FM, Mandisoul expressed his enthusiasm for bringing the film to Bulawayo as part of a nationwide tour.

“I am incredibly excited to take this film around the country. And on the 28th of February, we are finally coming to Bulawayo the City of Kings, the most beautiful city in the country to host the premiere! We will also be taking the film to Masvingo, Mutare, Gweru, and many other places nationwide. But I am especially excited about Bulawayo. It is going to be a red carpet event, so dress up, show up, and look your best. I expect a lot of excitement in Bulawayo,” said Mandisoul.

Mandisoul added that the real life events that he has witnessed have also played a role in shaping the movie’s narrative and hopes that it will resonate well with audiences and encourage them to maintain hope and faith.

“Dunamis is a faith-based film,” Mandisoul explained. “The story is based on real-life events I’ve witnessed in churches. It also explores the reality that there are both good and bad churches. But the key message is no matter what you see, never lose your faith in God.”

Following its Harare premiere, “Dunamis” is embarking on a cinema tour across Zimbabwe before its highly anticipated global release on Netflix. This marks Mandisoul’s third film crafted for the international market, demonstrating his continued growth and artistry.

Mandisoul is a respected figure in Zimbabwean filmmaking, known for his previous works including “State of Malambia,” which premiered on ZBC TV in 2018, and “House of Stone,” which he both produced and directed.
